Another volleyball showdown took place between the Danish Dynamites and the Coco Mangyans at the beachfront. The Danish players were father & sons Lars, Thom and Christian Jorgensen, Peter and Anders Dilling and Jeanette Olsen. The Coco Mangyan players were Activity guide Darwin, Barmen Phol and Willy, Service boy Efren, Waiters Welbert and Erwin and Coco Cinema’s operator Warlito.

Two days before the game, these Danish Players wondered how true that the Coco Mangyan team has never been beaten in beach volleyball. The Coco Mangyans politely explained that they had lost several times in previous years but this year, 2010, they had been on a winning streak with a perfect record of 9 wins – 0 losses. So the Danish decided to go on a mission to break the Mangyans’ perfect record.

Round 10 of the Volleyball Match for 2010

Friday at 4pm, the showdown started. The never ending fight between the Danish Dynamites and the Coco Mangyans was about to take another round. The first set was easy fro the Danish as they showed the Mangyans that they really like to win and break their record. On the second set the Danish got the early lead with a score of 9-3. Their Families and friends have started cheering jubilantly but the Mangyan Team bounced back and took sweet revenge. The third and the final set was full of action and excitement. The Danish Team got the lead with the score of 9-5. However, the Mangyans bounced back and showed the Dynamites who ruled the court. Once again, the Coco Mangyan team successfully defended their championship title with a score of 15-12 on the final set.

At the end of the game, everybody celebrated with a case of ice cold beer courtesy of the Danish Dynamites.
