This is the highest recognition you can get from PADI if you don’t have any instructor educator employed.

The PADI 5 Star logo.

The recognition is only given to those dive resorts which live up to the very strict requirements from PADI. Not only for the resort and accommodations, but also for amenities, service offered from the dive center. And of course since all rules and regulations are followed during educations and fun dives.

Incredible night dives

During one of last week’s night dives we got some nice shots of nudibranchs, flatworms and some funny pictures of catfish.

Night dives are something special. You can see at lot night active creatures leaving their protected cracks and holes for hunting. Normally you see many lionfishes during the day, but they are just hovering over the bottom. At night time they wake up and hunt. Also moray eels leave their holes and swim over the bottom in the search for some prey.

So next time you visit Coco Beach… don’t miss a night dive.

It can be hard to take perfect pictures during night because many fishes hide from the light while others get attracted to it.

It is difficult to get a good shot of a frogfish if the catfishes are playing around the strobe and lens.

The diver then corrected his strobe so he could take a picture of the catfish instead.
