Pacman on Coco's big screen

It's already given, a fact if you may. That when Manny Pacquiao has a fight, it's the day with the least crime and it's almost holiday in the Philippines, as well as for our staff in Coco Beach.

Last Sunday, November 15, 2009 @ 10 am, the Coco Cinema started to fill up with guest and local viewers. Coco Beach had  set up the Coco Cinema for the live telecast of the most awaited  welterweight boxing championship fight  between Filipino pride  and contender, Manny Pacquiao and the defending WBO champion, Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto.

Guets and staff are all glued to the screen watching Pacman and Cotto.

The Activity Guys had a special offer for the guests that day. For only Php 250, guests will get 2 beers or soft drinks and pica-pica (finger foods) plus the chance to see the live pay-per-view fight of these two fighting legends.

Guests and Coco Beach staff  got wild   and cheered on their feet each time Cotto fell on the canvass.  Finally, 55 seconds into the final round of the 12-round welterweight boxing match, referee Kenny Bayless stepped in and stopped the thunder and lightning and huge headaches being administered by the incredible fighting machine, Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao made a history when he won over Cotto by technical knock-out in round 12. He is the only boxer to win  7 championship belts in 7 different divisions  making him  a legend like other boxing greats like Muhammad Ali, Ken Norton, Joe Frasier and  all the other boxing heroes  of this century.
