Wednesday Hummer adventure!

Last week,  the Andersen family visited Coco Beach Island Resort. They had 12 days  of vacation with an action-packed  week spent here at the resort. Parents Poul & Susanne, children Michael, Nicholas, Maj-Britt (Nicholas gf for 10 yrs) Kenneth and Niclas (family friend and working on Michael’s business for 5 yrs) were such a strong and happy family.

All of them were first timers at Coco Beach except for  Niclas who was first  here 10 years ago. Niclas was only 12 years old when he first came to Coco Beach and had already forgotten  lots of things about his stay here then  but what he could not forget was how beautiful a place Coco Beach was and how nice and friendly the staff was.

Their action-packed week  started Tuesday with  Discover Scuba Diving. Everyone said how much they enjoyed the beautiful  marine life of Puerto Galera. On Wednesday they had a whole day adventure with  our Hummer vehicle. They visited Tamaraw Falls, Tukuran lagoon and had a BBQ lunch by the river side. Thursday, they visited the Iraya Mangyans in the Sitio of Talipanan and the children at Stairway Foundation. After lunch, they visited one more Mangyan village in the Baclayan Settlement where the Andersen family walked for about 2 hours.

On Friday they had lunch at Bulabod beach. After lunch, they went back to Puerto Galera pier and from there they maneuvered a kayak back to Coco Beach. Saturday was spent doing a follow-up dive and enjoying the thrill of riding the Banana Boat.   On Sunday,   they went beach-hopping, snorkeling and fishing hoping to catch their own fish for food. Unfortunately,  the Andersen family ended up eating rice with soy  sauce for lunch as the fish weren’t biting at all!  After lunch,  they engaged in a Paintball in Puerto Galera.

By Monday, after breakfast,   they rode on mountain bikes up to  Ponderosa Golf Club for lunch after which they played a 9-hole golf game. Poul and Niclas shared the lead in the game.

It truly was such an action-packed week  but it seemed like the Andersens wanted more.  So the final challenge for them was letting them “Pick your own Coconut”-  one of the many thrilling 101 Activities Coco Beach offers.
