As you may know, on September 26 the Philippines was hit by typhoon Ketsana, locally known as typhoon Ondoy. In such a small span of time, it had a record rainfall of 345mm in just 6 hours which is higher than the monthly average.

We are glad that Coco Beach Island Resort and our Manila Booking Office are not affected. However, on his wake, Ondoy has left an aftermath of deluge in Metro Manila and other provinces in Luzon. Thousands and thousands of people have been affected by this calamity.

With that, the management of Coco Beach Island Resort is preparing for a relief operation for the survivors of typhoon Ketsana. Anyone who wish to help, please email coconews@cocobeach.com
