Jan and Dorthe with their kids Christian and Ida

After another wedding, we now go to celebrating their vows years after their big day. Dorthe and Jan is visiting Coco Beach for the first time. With them are their children Christian aged 9 and three-year old Ida. Their parents Alfred and Bodil are also tagging along to spend two weeks in paradise.

Jan have discovered Coco Beach though his friend and colleague, Nicolai. His friend has been visiting twice and the last time was only three months ago. After a few conversations and pictures of Nicolai’s snorkeling, diving and excursions, Jan decided to spend their holiday and anniversary here in our hideaway.

Their story started on one New Year’s Eve, 25 years ago. Since then, Jan shares, they fell in love and after eleven years of dating, they decided to get married.

Celebrating 14 years of marriage

On August 12, during breakfast the staff prepared a special table with fresh flowers and Danish flags for Jan, Dorthe and their family. While having a relaxing breakfast, Jan surprised Dorthe with a bouquet of beautiful flowers and a sweet kiss to celebrate their 14 years of marriage.
