DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

  Usual Duration : 2.5 - 3 hours
  Course Prerequisites : None
  Course Description : After some academics you are ready to take to the pool making some few skills and getting comfortable with your gear, under a close eye from one of our instructors. When finishing the pool session you go directly out on a boat dive (max. depth 12 meters / 39 feet. Duration about 40 - 50 minutes). Here you will enjoy your best dive ever - so far... On one of Puerto Galera's many beautiful dive sites. After ending the small course you are able to do as many follow-up dives you like... But only with a Dive Master or Instructor as your buddy. It's a great chance for you to get into diving if you're short of time. If you sign in for the full Open Water Diver course after ending your Discover Scuba Diving Experience we will deduct the full price for the Discover Scuba Diving course

SCUBA DIVER

  Course Description : If you're short of time for the full Open Water Diver certification you can take the Scuba Diver certification by completing a part of Open Water Diver course. This allows you to dive with a Dive Master or Instructor within the limits you learn (max. depth 12 meters / 39 feet). If you have completed the Discover Scuba Diving experience you are already halfway. Next time you have some time again you can upgrade to the full Open Water Diver certification

OPEN WATER DIVER

  Course Description : This is a fully international recognized certification which lasts a lifetime. Using the latest teaching materials from PADI we minimize the time in the classroom... For you're here to get wet. During the 5 pool sessions you will get comfortable with your gear and the skills you have to perform. The 4 open water dives will all be boat dives and you will explore the magnificent underwater world of Puerto Galera. You can choose to take your course in stages or take it all in one go.

CERTIFIED DIVER COURSES

SINGLE LESSON

  Minimum Age: 10 years
  Usual Duration : 2 hours
  Course Prerequisites : Minimum Scuba Diver
  Course Description : If you haven’t been diving for 12 months or more you better start slowly again. Getting comfortable with the gear and some skills. Your Dive Master or Instructor will go over the equipment with you and after knowing the functions of your gear you will make some skills in the pool. When you are comfortable in the water and wit the skills, you will go for a nice and easy dive at one of our many dive sites.

ADVENTURE DIVER / ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

  Minimum Age: 12 years
  Usual Duration : 2 days
  Course Prerequisites : PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
  Course Description : If you want to experience to go deeper or to find your way around under water. The Adventure Diver / Advanced Open Water Diver course is just what you need. You don't have to be a "Hard core diver" to participate this course. You just want to be a better diver. The course is all about diving, so there is no classroom and examines. Only a little bit of reading and filling out some knowledge reviews. You can even start your course the same day you finish your Open Water Diver course.

There are 2 “core dives” you have to complete.
Deep. Here you learn to extend you your depth range beyond 18 meters/60 feet in a safe and fun way. Explore new dive sites like Canyons, Shark Cave or M/V Almajane

Navigation. Enjoy mastering your navigation skills and find the thrill finding back, using natural references and your compass.
And 3 elective dives to complete.
Night. Try to dive on a dive site you know from daylight and see the big difference. Many fish hunt at night so you will experience a whole new dive site during your night dive.

U/W Naturalist. Do you want to know something about the fish and corals you see? Then choose this dive towards your certification. You will learn a lot about the marine life and you will enjoy every dive afterwards… knowing what you see.
Wreck. Learn something about wreck diving and explore some of the wrecks we have in our area.

Drift. Would you like to explore an under water rollercoaster? Here you have thechance to experience it under safe conditions with your instructor.
Multi-Level. Extend your bottom time by learning to use “The Wheel” and dive computers and get some great long dives.

U/W Photographer . Do you have your own under water camera and would you like to learn how to take some excellent pictures while diving? Then this is the right Adventure dive to choose.

As an Advanced Open Water Diver you will have the opportunity to experience dives not open to you as an Open Water Diver… And it’s a pre requisite to become a Rescue Diver.

If you complete any 3 of the training dives, you will be certified as an Adventure Diver.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE

  Course Description : You will complete a series of exercises within Medic First Aid, which will lead you to perform primary and secondary care with CPR.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE RECERTIFICATION

  Course Description : Every 24 month you have to renew your EFR certification.

You will complete a series of exercises within Medic First Aid, which will lead you to perform primary and secondary care with CPR.

RESCUE DIVER

  Minimum Age: 12 years
  Usual Duration : 3 -4 days, 4 - 5 days combined with EFR
  Course Prerequisites : PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
This is defined as proof of certification beyond entry level Diver (at least two certifications total). You must have proof of at least twenty or more logged dives documenting experience in deep diving and underwater navigation.
Before certification you must have proof or CPR training within the past 24 months.
  Course Description : Learn to look after yourself and others! PADI’S Rescue Diver program will build your confidence as a diver, give you valuable experience in emergency management and prevention and heighten your awareness of the surrounding environment. Sections on self-rescue, diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment problems will prepare you to handle almost any emergency whether on the shoreline or in the water. After reading module 1 in your manual, watching module 1 on video and filling out the knowledge review you will be certified to dive with enriched air Nitrox 32% using the RDP for normal air.   Course Descriptions : You will learn to plan and organize a search & recovery dive. Furthermore you will go through procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of search & recovery diving. You will try limited visibility diving and underwater navigation techniques. You'll be using proper techniques and safety considerations for object location, including the use of various search patterns, lines and reels. And learn proper techniques and safety considerations for recovery of objects using various lifting devices. Try to dump a object, find it again and get it to the surface. It's fun and can be very useful in the future.

  Course Descriptions : Become a professional… And learn how take responsibility for other divers during the Dive Master course. You will not only learn a lot about diving but also how a dive shop is run. As a part of your training you will also learn about equipment, physics, dive planning and how to assist an instructor. This will probably be your greatest step into dive education. This course is also the prerequisite for becoming an instructor.
