April’s New Moon Festival was a hit as it also coincided with the Clambake Party and on a Saturday!

This is the 4th New Moon Party turned into a Festival with all the additional activities like Fire Dance Lessons, Tattoo, Piercing, Dread Locks and Bazaar.

As captured by Alistair with the caption "The sun sets as the new moon party's about to start at Coco Beach"

The party started with the waiters serving cocktails and pica pica at the Carabao Garden. Then the Silab Fire Dancers and Bob Apolinar welcomed everyone with another blazing performance at the beach.

Young and talented band of Green Leafy from Barangay Sabang was the first to perform and entertained everyone with some reggae music. Green Leafy Band are Bon, leader and drummer, Jayson as their vocalist, Wesley and Edrich playing the guitar and Les Paul in the bass guitar. They may be young but they know what they sure can play some reggae music.

The band shares that “Green Leafy” was chosen to be their band name because of the green trees surrounding Puerto Galera. They have started playing together since high school.

After the set of Green Leafy the guest helped the cooks and waiters dig out the seafoods baked under the sand which is the main dish for the Clambake dinner.

Then, it was time for the main act and much awaited Indio I who rocked the party and wowed everyone with their original and cover songs. Most of the guest couldn’t help but sing with them and move their body when they started singing their hit single Diwata.
