Leon and Belinda's Week Long Escapade

A week full of action packed activities with Leon and Belinda, this adventurous couple stayed at Coco Beach Island Resort for 7 nights and joined different kinds of activities.

On their second day, they joined the daily free boat and went through snorkeling and enjoy the beauty of marine life.

Third day, they went to Tamarraw Falls andTukuran Lagoon where they experienced how to ride a carabao cart and enjoyed the beauty of Puerto Galera, while having a Barbecue lunch prepared by one of our Activity guy Elian.

Fourth day, according to them this is the best thing they did during their stay. A heart pumping and adrenalin rush activities of Go carting, atv and buggy, which they love the most even though it was raining.

On the fifth day, after their breakfast they went to Ponderosa Golf Club to see the overlooking view of Puerto Galera. They also visited the Mangyanan Settlement where they saw the simple life of the Indigenous people and gave them a simple gift of candies, cookies and the likes to the Mangyan children.

On the sixth day, they visited White Beach just to see why this is famous among local tourist even in foreign visitors.

At one week at Coco Beach, early in the morning they packed up and ready to go to a 2 hours road trip going to Naujan Lake to visit the “Simbahang Bato”. It’s a tiring day for us, but it’s worth it; Leon said.

Well Cargo and AFP Summer Outing

Last week, two groups came to Coco Beach for team building, playing and simply relaxing at the beach under the sun. But more importantly this was a great opportunity for them to spend time together.

Well Cargo Group with 42 employees headed by Levy Zapata spent 2 days and 1 night at Coco Beach Island Resort. Actually it was a second time now for Levy who has been here before and recommended Coco Beach to the group.

After serving refreshing welcome drinks the group was guided to their designated rooms. All of them stayed in the Family Deluxe rooms with nice sea view from their terrace.  At around lunch time the group feasted on a delicious buffet set up at Carabao Garden.

Late in the afternoon, they were all ready for the team building activities like tug of war and beach relay. They group themselves into four teams. Team 4 wins at the end of the game and special prizes was given to them.

The next morning after breakfast some of the group signed up for the Glass Bottom Boat Ride to see underwater beauty and hoping to find nemo and his friends without getting wet.

While others were enjoying the thrill and excitement in the banana boat ride and did all they can not to lose grip when the banana boat was being flip upside-down. According to Levy the group had so much fun and enjoyed their stay.

Other group is the second batch of AFP Finance Center/Multipurpose Cooperative with 37 person composed of Managers and board of Directors. The first APF group who was here last April 14 – 15 had a nice experience and referred Coco Beach to the next batch.

They did several activities like Free Boat Tour where they have a relaxing dip in the water, playing with the waves via Banana Boat and enjoyed the corals and other sea water creatures via the Glass Bottom Boat. Some of them who wanted to feel more of being close to the nature joined the Trekking Tour around the resort. Aside from these activities the group had teambuilding activities also at the beach organized by Coco Beach's Activity Guys.

Faith Academy Group

Once again students and Faculty personnel from Faith Academy made up of 76 person headed by Neal Seaborn had their summer outing at Coco Beach Island Resort. They were really amazed at how the staff welcomed them with the song, shell necklace and refreshing Coconut juice.

After getting their keys, everyone headed to their assigned rooms. All the boys stayed in the Super Banana Deluxe with amazing view of the sea while the girls occupied all the Family Deluxe room uphill with a promising view from their balcony.

Most of their stay was spent relaxing at the beach and at the swimming pool just playing in the water and having fun with each other. The next day around 25 students joined the Free Boat Tour to Bayanan Beach for swimming and snorkeling.

And those who were up for a more thrilling experience, they tried the Banana Boat Ride. You can hear from the beach the kids shouting every time the Banana boat was flipped upside-down. A must activity you have to experience while you are here.

Some of the kids enjoyed kayaking and playing basketball with each other.

On Saturday evening, Faith Academy group joined the Fiesta Grande dinner with Coco Band that entertained everyone the entire evening. To everyone's surprise. the girls in the Faith Academy group came to dinner donning  a white dress with matching a flower on their hair that made them look like a  “Diwata” or goddess.

Equally surprising is the resourcefulness and creativity of these lovely young ladies as in the nick of time, they all dressed that way. Wondering why they all have the same dress as if they planned it? It was because they all have the same white linens in the room and turned it to a dress. That’s how brilliant and creative these ladies could be.

According to Neal, they enjoyed the night as well as the world class performance delivered by Lahing Batangan Dance troupe. They said that they truly enjoyed their stay and would love to come back next time.
